The All About Agatha Christie Weekend

For all those of you who definitely intended booking for the Agatha Christie Weekend in June, I have disappointing news
Unfortunately, although there was a massive amount of interest expressed when the idea was first mentioned on my website, I have not received enough definite interest to make the weekend viable, as the price quoted for the weekend was dependent upon a minimum number of participants.
I know the weekend was not due to take place for another five months, but I need to make a decision now for several reasons, not the least of which is that several overseas fans were wanting to come and would need to book their flights. Also, I would need to start collecting deposits as the hotel and coaching company etc. understandably require sizeable deposits of their own.
I quite appreciate that the cost of the weekend may have seemed somewhat prohibitive, but I wanted it to be an exceptional experience for all those taking part, and therefore I went for the very best in accommodation and entertainment.
I am personally very disappointed as I think it would have been a fabulous weekend; however, I have not entirely given up the idea of getting Agatha Christie fans together, and I am working on a cut-price version.
